About Youth and Family
Dear Brothers and Sisters
It has been my pleasure to meet so many of you this last month. I am hopeful and eager to continue meeting even more members as we finally have the opportunity to gather together again. In this first month we have gathered in the sanctuary, had the blessing of a Wednesday service to begin the Lenten season and even shared a few meals!
As I pray about how I will best serve my new church home, I would love to share some of my thoughts and goals.
The most important goal going forward as a church family is to pray for one another. I do not mean say a prayer on Sunday and forget about it, but come together and connect with corporate prayers about everything. The most valuable way to be Brothers and Sisters in Christ is to lift one another up; to be specific and pray about our needs and concerns so we can be there for one another, and celebrate with one another. I want us to make praying for the Ebenezer United Methodist family our daily priority. Pour your hearts out to Heaven praying for the direction of our Church, and workd situation
Things I would like to see bloom…
New Sunday School Classes for all ages
Wednesday Night Youth Programs
Baptisms
Confirmation Classes
Middle School & High School summer programs
I appreciate this opportunity to serve at Ebenezer UMC and my wife Tracy and I feel blessed to be a part of this church.
In Christ Service,
Rev. Bill Mallalieu
